For the first tme in our festival history, as part of Screen.dance 2021, we are offering two opportunities related to screen dance writing.
Let’s Write About Screen Dance – our screen dance writing programme for aspiring writers selected from our open call and led by dance writer Róisín O’Brien.
Let’s Chat About Screen Dance Writing – our screen dance masterclass led by dance writer Cara Hagan is for anyone interested in employing creative tactics to write artfully and with depth about screen dance and other art forms. This is also an opportunity to hear from Cara who will present excerpts of her writing which weaves the factual and the philosophical. In Cara’s own words:
This isn’t your literature composition class at Uni. It’s an opportunity to expand your mind, the reaches of your capacity to communicate, and a reminder of why art is so intoxicating.
