Between silences (USA 2019 8 min 20 sec) Filmed on location on Cape Cod, between silences is a dance film based on Ali Kenner Brodsky’s solo the most depressing piece… Together with filmmaker Rich Ferri, Kenner Brodsky transforms her live solo into a raw, unfiltered cinematic experience. between silences portrays one woman’s journey through grief. Being (Argentina 2020, 7 min 15 sec) Being captures the restorative power that draws the dancer to the dance. Away from a life of sidewalks and cellphones, where beauty is unnoticed, time stops so it may start again. The dance restores the self, and the senses reconnect with the world, like a flower bouncing back from destruction. Dir. Pablo Destito, Agustina Videla.


House of Joy (USA 2018 9 min 12 sec) Made in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Raven Jones of Woflbird Dance in Portland, Oregon. Shot entirely on Kodak Super 8mm film, the piece chronicles one person’s struggle to let go of what they thought life would be like. Dir. Robert Uehlin.

Wanting (USA 2018 7 minutes) Wanting is a study in intimacy and space -exploring the idea of not having all that is needed or expected; to lack or be short of something essential. Dir. Robin Gee .


A Sight for Sore Eyes (Finland 2018 2 min) What we see or don’t is based on our subjective skills of receiving the view.  Film is based on dance and chatting moments with Hilkka Ollikkala in Myllypuro comprehensive service centre in autumn 2018. Dir Kati Kallio.
